Accommodation:
Berty Gite, all on
one level, has its own entrance, on to the garden. It sleeps up to 7 in 3
bedrooms with 2 bathrooms.
Then there are 2 further bedrooms with twin single beds (3' / 90cm) and a shared bathroom (shower, basin and WC). The larger of these bedrooms can sleep 3 (with an additional full size single bed). Both have views over the front garden. The bedrooms are carpeted and have central heating. Baby cot and high chair available on request. |

open plan living room has a modern fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge with two settees and a dining table and chairs.
There is central heating and a wood burning stove. One of the settees converts
to a further double bed for occasional guests, if required. The living area and dining room each
seat 6.
Bed linen & bath towels provided. Swimming towels available. 11m * 7m shaped swimming
pool with Roman Steps (shallow end 1.2m, gradually shelving to deepest
area 1.6m). The pool is for the exclusive use of our guests. To meet French regulations the pool is fenced with self-closing gates and equipped
with an alarm to AFNOR standard. The pool is solar heated. |

settings and including everyday essentials.

The garden has ample space for sports activities and games including our archery range (with instruction). There are shady or sunny places to relax in and enjoy the surroundings and wildlife and a variety of spots for outdoor eating and entertainment. Have a leisurely lunch in the garden or spend the afternoon in a hammock in the shade of the cherry trees....... The property is south-facing, but benefits from the shade of mature trees and a pergola covered by rambling roses, wisteria and other climbers. |

This is the perfect place for nature lovers with many varieties of wild flowers, insects, frogs, lizards and butterflies. For bird-watchers there are golden orioles, cirl buntings, short-toed tree creepers, wrynecks, nightingales, wrens, hoopoes and many other bird visitors, depending on season. Our dark skies make for splendid star-gazing. Berty is nestled in the valley of the Tartuguie , amidst rolling countryside. Rouillac is above and to the right. |
